International Women’s Day

A Day of Pleasure, Creation, and Connection

My International Women’s Day was spent exactly as I wanted:

🌿 Working on projects I love—small businesses I’m starting for myself
🔥 Sharing pleasure—with my body, my partner, and my art
🎨 Creating erotic art—making an altar to Venus in retrograde
🧘 Sitting in meditation—feeling the gratitude pour through me
💃 Dancing with beautiful women—moving through the night in joyous exaltation

I spent the evening with two dear friends, lost in movement, laughter, sensuality. At one point, our six-person circle of friends danced together—sometimes silly, sometimes sexy, always full of life.

I let myself bask in the beauty of it all.

The Fight That Made This Joy Possible

As I moved through the night, I couldn’t help but think:

Not so long ago, most of this was illegal.

Not so long ago, women, trans people, and nonbinary people fought for the simple freedom to love, dance, exist, to own their bodies, their pleasure, and their joy.

Many are still fighting.

And sometimes, I wonder if I should feel guilt for the joy I have access to—the freedoms that others fought for and that some still don’t have.

But I also know:

🔥 Pleasure is essential.
🔥 Freedom is meant to be lived.
🔥 Celebration is a form of resistance.

Just as vital as joy is the act of getting involved—showing up for those who are more oppressed, making our voices clear, standing beside all women, trans people, and nonbinary people on this day and every day.

Because that is true feminism.

Honoring the Women Who Inspire

As I sat on my porch, reflecting, I found myself thinking about my dear friend Emily Middleton.

Emily is a woman who steps into spaces authentically, honestly, and bravely.

She was hired as a consultant to train me in marketing for my current job. For the past three to four months, I have met with her regularly, and I cannot overstate the impact she has had on me.

Even though I’ve never been in a physical room with her, her presence in a virtual space is enough—she fills it with wisdom, confidence, and generosity.

Every time I speak with her, she echoes that bravery into my own life.

A Moment of Gratitude

So today, I want to give gratitude to Emily—a trans woman doing incredible things in this world, helping others build their dreams.

And I hope you take a moment to do the same.

🌿 Honor a woman who has helped you.
🌿 Or a woman who simply exists, who you love, who is cool.
🌿 Because being is enough.

Closing Thoughts

With that, I’ll sign off.

I love you. I see you. I am grateful for you.

Until next time. 💛
